The project works involved replacing 6” pipe work and valve arrangements without shutting any systems down. It was crucial that we kept the energy centre running whilst we carried out these works. This involved introducing a temporary pump system into the plant room and switching over systems without disturbing or interrupting a single heating circuit. Almost carried out like a military operation.
The works also involved live line blocking services taking place to avoid the prohibited shut downs. A tricky operation carried out with careful planning and implementation.
Works complete with new thermal insulation and identifications.
