When proceeding to the design development and cost analysis of
a project WT Parker consider and recognise the necessity to establish
trust and credibility between the company and the client's team.
We would establish this by developing a value engineering process
in line with the following principles:
- WT Parker, with the client's team, select key suppliers and
sub-contractors who are critical to the works They have the capabilities,
resources to ensure programme and cost certainty together with
value engineering input.
- Developing and agreeing a design means the specification and
clients requirements utilise WT Parker's many years of design
engineering experience combined with practical installation expertise
and project management.
- WT Parker will apply a systematic approach to value engineering
and to achieving the required project functions at least cost,
without any detriment to quality, performance and reliability.
- In establishing the relationship between cost and value, due
consideration will be given to the whole life cycle costs of the
design solution including the capital costs for installation and
replacement, the energy costs, and the operating and maintenance
costs during the life of the facility.
